Dragon Moon, May

This was an invitation camp, for those who have been working with various forms of Alternative Teaching and Healing, and wish to come together with others to share and prepare for the next stage of Earth Evolution.

It was a small camp, only a 13 people, and it became close very quickly. The site was a hill fort in Wales, Llancayo not far from Cardiff, on private land which was being very sensitively managed.

We spent most of the time talking of our expriences, what we liked, what we didnt like about camps; where they were going, what was good and what wasnt.

We walked round the site watching the Red Kites and Buzards. There were many coupling trees on the fort, forked trunks, two species intergrowing. Maple, Ash, Hawthorn

Long sharing circles about community and how it can work. I find this part the most difficult of all; I'm not wasy with communal living, I'm a loner and an outsider. Is it trust, being selfish or just I get irritated too easily!

It really confronts some of my ways of living. All the little things I do to save water and minimise my impact but I work in the weapons industry.
I dont give much to charities. I watch TV, play computer games, dont meditate every moring. I'm not rainbow warrior. I dont belevive the world is going to end in 2012, or even that civilisation will be up heaved. I dont beleive the earth is going to shift axis. I dont believe in channeling angelic beings. I am sceptical about many things, but I'm an empirical engineer. If it works i use it. Or even if it seems to work. But I have had additctions to pornography alchohol and smoking

We had a weird sweat lodge too; great fun and totally spontaneous. The mistake was not to build a bender but use Ros's small dome, with bamboo poles joined by hosepipe and drawing pins. It got hot and started to collapse. But in spite of that it was extraordinary. Whatever happens, I'm commited to helping run these camps. They are so important.
